Business Development Manager

Role:  Business Development Managers are primarily responsible for developing new markets, originating new business, and delivering customer service to clients. They are considered independent businesses, and are run with a high degree of latitude. They are part of the core SunOne operational team.

Skills/Background Required:  Ideal candidates will have an agricultural background (ranching, forestry, and farming).  In addition, candidates with carbon market, environmental policy, marketing and sales, and/or USDA experience will be given favorable preference.  Outstanding Business Development Managers will be considered for advancement in the organization.

Local Partner

Role:  Local Partners are primarily responsible for originating new business and referring land owners and managers to SunOne Solutions. Local Partners are independent, and operate with a high degree of latitude. Both individuals and organizations can be Local Partners.

Skills/Background Required:  Ideal Local Partners will have an agricultural background (ranching, forestry, and farming).  In addition, candidates with carbon market, environmental policy, marketing and sales, and/or USDA experience will be given favorable preference.  Outstanding Local Partners can earn advancement opportunities.

Intern / Summer Associate

Role:  We are looking for well qualified, hard-working, self-starters to report to the Regional Manager and help them execute on SunOne’s U.S. strategy. Above all, the qualified candidate will have an interest in, and ability to, undertake the wide range of research, data management, administrative and analytical tasks necessary to meet the evolving needs of our entrepreneurial organization, and will do so in a respectful, enthusiastic manner.

Skills/Background Required:  The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge, or passion for the carbon industry and the agricultural sectors.  Both graduate and undergraduate students will be considered.
